Rasmussen Company is selling products in different regions. You have been asked to determine inventory requirements for next year based on past years' sales record. The company also wants to be able to forecast further into the future and do more comprehensive analysis on their data. Rasmussen Company believes that the tools they have today are not sufficient to complete this type of analysis and forecasting. You are asked to conduct research on various analytics' platforms and make a recommendation as to which one would be best for the company.

As part of this course project, you will determine analytics platform as well as software requirements to resolve this business objective. Please review the Excel file. Download the Excel file containing the sample dataset.

Review the data and determine the key elements which align with the business requirements.

Describe how this data will be positioned in a cloud environment on the analytics platform.

Your paper should be a minimum of 3 full pages in length.

You will need to include a minimum of 2 credible sources for your research, with 1 being an academic source, such as a book or an academic scholarly journal. Academic scholarly journals can be accessed through the Rasmussen Online Library. For business sources, ProQuest and EBSCO Host are helpful.
