The COVID-19 pandemic changed, maybe indefinitely, how and where we work. Social distancing and work-from-home mandates protected some, but frontline workers had no such protections. Many typesof jobs were eliminated or changed to accommodate these restrictions, and supply chains morphed to offer safer, omni-channel fulfillment options.

• Summarize a specific change in a category of job or change in order fulfillment options that resulted from the COVID-19 pandemic. (For example, change in responsibilities (and technologies) for cashiers.) Was this change beneficial or detrimental to the existing workforce?
