The debates as to which level $($Federal or State$)$ should have the power to decide the fate of some of our most contentious issues $($Marriage$,$ Immigration, Eduction, etc.$)$ is very real and is the central difference between Conservatism $($valuing more State power and jurisdiction to decide issues $-$ See $10$th Amendment$)$ and Liberalism $($valuing more Federal$/$Central power and jurisdiction to decide issues $-$ See Article $6,$ paragraph $2).$ Pick a contemporary topic that falls within this debate $($see list above as example$)$ and then identify at least two Advantages and two Disadvantages to having the issue you picked decided at the Federal$/$Central level. Finally, tell us which level of government $($Federal or State$)$ you think should have the power to decide the fate of the issue you picked.
