The different strategy for an organization consist of several businesses which is from the strategy of one business, which is called an SBU. In fact, none of these grand strategies is appropriate for an SBU:

• strategic alliance
• joint venture
• merger/acquisition (except for horizontal and vertical integration)
• diversification
• liquidation

Growth is usually seen as a good thing, for both the SBU and the corporate parent. What are the benefits of growth for an individual employee?
