The Doctors Office

Dr. Love has a large surgical practice in South Florida. His office employs 18 individuals as clerical and front desk personnel. Also, he employs 4 to 6 RNs depending on the time of year due to fluctuations in patient census. You speak with Dr. Love, and you advise him that you are investigating identity theft. The common characteristic indicates that the identities being stolen are a significant number of Dr. Loves patients. You talk with Dr. Love. He advises that there is a tracking system in place for all his computers. As you cannot print from any screen, the only ones that can download any information are the office manager and two assistant office managers. All servers are off-site, and none of the information is stored at the office.
