The Equal Pay Act requires employers to:

pay women the same wage as men when the jobs are comparable in terms of organizational worth

pay women the same as men if the job can reasonably be accommodated for them pay women the same wage as men when the johs are substantially equal

pay women the same as men if the organization can afford to do so
