The essay can be about any topic you choose. The essay must present an argument claim and be focused on one issue.

• You must have at least two sources referenced in your paper.
• You may not use the following references as sources:
  • Wikipedia
  • Religious books, including The Bible, Torah or Koran 
  • Shmoop sources
  • Personal blogs
  • Social media
• You must have a Works Cited page and in-text citations.
• Your paper must be double spaced.
• Your paper must be written in formal, analysis style, using third person  point of  view. Do NOT write in first or second person point of view.
• Your paper must be submitted online to canvas as a Word document.
