Ethane is consumed to make ethylene ( see Book page 42 for example) as a direct dehydrogenation of ethane. From HW3 problem 1, we know that when ethane partial pressure is 21.7kPa, the flowrate into the reactor for ethane is 0.00060933mol/min, and the flowrate out for ethane is 0.00052400mol/min. Now additional information is that from GC analysis we know that the stream out has a 0.00008mol/min of ethylene flow. Calculate the selectivity, and yield of the ethylene.
