The first step is to understand the data, interpret what the dataset is about, create at least four research (business) questions that you are interested to find the answer for, identify the KPIs, and then create an organized dashboard with tables and charts to summarize the KPIs and answers to the research (business) questions. You might need to clean the data first (as you learn in week 2 practice lab), and/or add new columns to extract some information (as you did for example in HW2) to be used in the visualizations. You can use filters and slicers to make the dashboard interactive.
You need to submit your Excel file (including your data and dashboard) and a word file that includes: a) an introduction of the dataset that you used with a reference to a link where you get it (if applicable), b) an explanation of research (business) questions that you developed and the KPIs that you considered, c) the fields that you used to create the summary tables and the reason that you decided to create those tables, d) the type of charts you used to present each table and the reason why you selected that type of chart, and e) the answer you found for research (business) questions based on the interactive dashboard that you created. The word file acts as a process book for your project. Your group needs to prepare an organized and professional-looking dashboard and process book. One submission per team is enough.
