The first steps of designing a quality control system are determining what to measure to ensure quality and setting specification limits that determine what the measurements should be. In part one of the course project, you will identify and describe a process in your organization, and propose a quality control variable for it. Then you will set specification limits for that variable. If you are not currently working within an organization, choose a process in which you're the customer or consumer. To complete this part of the project you will: 1. Choose a process in your organization that you want to evaluate for quality OR a process in which you're the customer or consumer. Write a thorough description of the process. 2. Recommend at least one quality control variable to be used as a proxy to determine the process quality. 3. Indicate how each quality control variable should be measured. 4. Set the design specification limits for each control variable you selected, and provide the business rationale behind each of them
