A married filing jointly person whose taxable income in between $20,000-$49,999 is charged 2.59% of the first $19,999.99, and 2.88% of the amount over $19,999.99, etc. Note that these are referred to as "tax brackets". The actual brackets for the state of AZ in 2017 is given in the table below.

a) Create a table and come up with a simplified piecewise- linear function to represent the AZ state income tax for a married filing jointly taxpayer as a function of taxable income, but only for taxable incomes up to $49,999. (don't worry about people making $50,000 or more)

b) In 2017, how much tax does someone in AZ who is married filing jointly with a taxable income of $20,000 owe? Explain answer.

c) If someone paid $834.80 in tax in 2017, how much was their income? Explain answer.
