L'Oreal Paris offers leading-edge products that out-perform the competition to people who care more about the way they look. L'Oreal's passion for innovation, performance, style and a sense of premium is encapsulated in the 'because you're worth it' philosophy. Since 1994, the branding strategy implemented by L'Oreal Group in India has created a strong presence in product lines such as skincare, haircare, and cosmetics. Over the years, L'Oreal has created brands such as, Garnier, Maybelline, NYX professional makeup, L'Oreal Paris, Lancome, Vichy, Diesel, Ralph Lauren fragrances, and many more. Furthermore , in 2008 L'Oreal purchased The Body Shop and in 2022, Aseem Kaushik, the Managing Direct of L'Oreal Paris India said they plan to double their operations in India. In addition to several great campaigns created by L'Oreal and having Anushka Sharma as the brand ambassador L'Oreal India; Tapsee Pannu Neha Sharma and Angira Dhar for Garnier India and some of the big Bollywood celebrities in India, they have globally spent USD 1.18 Billion in R&D in year 2022 and about USD 1 Billion on ICT (Information, Communication and Technology) in year 2022 to utilize Al (Artificial Intelligence ), ML (Machine Learning), DL (Deep leaming) to integrate technology in skin and haircare. L'Oreal is also investing heavily in creating products that utilise less water and focus on creating green products which are good for the environment. L'Oreal's success is proof that when done right, global branding can spend speed growth in mature consumer-products companies even when global markets themselves are shaky.
