The file NutritionalStudy (given in Moodle) contains information about the dietary intake of fat and fiber on the calorie intake of 314 healthy adults. a) Plot this data appropriately to show if there is any association between calorie intake and (i) dietary fat intake and (ii) separately, dietary fiber intake. Upload the files with your graphs below, remembering to edit them to be fully presentable. b) Comment on the associations you can see in these graphs. Based on these and appropriate statistics, which dietary factor has the greater influence on calorie intake? State the statistical feature/s that is the evidence for any statement. c) Only for the more important dietary factor found in b): i) Does the dietary influence on calorie intake follow a linear relationship or not? Upload a file with an appropriate graph as evidence for your answer below and comment on it. ii) What percentage of the change in calorie intake is explained well by the change in that dietary factor? iii) Clearly interpret what the value of the slope indicates in this relationship.
