The Health of the U.S. economy by its GDP, Business Cycle, and Economic Growth The current health of the U.S. economy by its GDP, business cycle, and economic growt is an efficient way to evaluate where it stands currently. Forecasting the GDP can be tough and may not always be efficient. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics eludes that by 2022 the GDP growth will slow, creating a new "norm" that the country will go by (2013). It seems we have become comfortable with the growth of annual growth of the GDP, but change seems to be on the horizon. Some of the change is due to the aging population; baby boomers, the lack of tradesmen is being talked about often; the younger population do not seem to be interested in filling those positions
