Because the new location is smaller than the current one, the department will be switching to remote coding, so coders must be set up to work at home. The reason for this is the successful implementation of electronic medical records. Old paper medical records will be stored at a facility that the hospital contracts. Patients must find new service locations because the Release of Information area will be relocated.
