The HIM department is comprised of a team of employees who have a great deal of longevity in the department. Change does not always come easily to them. Geoffrey is vocal about any changes that you try to implement. His behavior has led to a morale problem in the unit, affecting a few of the other staff who consider him as their informal leader, due to his seniority and friendship at breaks and lunch. Thankfully, there are several informal leaders in the department whom you can generally count on to at least be willing to try something new
