The immunization of children has been credited with eradicating many deadly diseases such as polio, whooping cough, and smallpox. Before developing vaccines, hundreds of thousands of children died due to the diseases (Santrock, 2018). Over the past decade, there has been a decline in children being immunized in the United States. Much of this decline is due to the fear of some of the side effects of having a child immunized. The parents who make the decision are passionate about doing the right thing for their children. Watch the video.
