The information that is covered on the QuickBooks Online User Certification test is how to set up QuickBooks online, manage journal entries, recurring transactions, and lists. Being able to record basic money-in and out transactions, manage sales, expenses and vendor records is also a requirement for the test. A few more important topics to study are managing bank feeds, receipts and implementing financial account connections.

If a student is going to be setting a career goal of becoming a bookkeeper or an accountant, the QuickBooks Certification would be extremely helpful in being positioned in a job and could allow for quick hiring.

As of right now QuickBooks would not help me in my personal life since I do not have enough accounts to use to be able setup QuickBooks for use. I have a basic life, nothing huge happens with expenses.

I would like to take the QuickBooks Certification test, but I feel that I need to learn more about QuickBooks by taking another class. I do not think I am ready for the test since I found that I had many difficulties with this course. Especially understanding how account transactions can be incorrect when all the information that was added to QuickBooks from the textbook was put in correctly.

The overall experience I have had from this course is that I have learned quite a bit about QuickBooks and how the program functions, but I was constantly frustrated with the program. I wanted to quit this course right from the beginning. By take this course, it has given me the opportunity to do some deep thinking and pondering into if accounting is the correct career choice for me.
