The instruction beq performs the following operations:

concatenates part of the pc to part of the instruction

adds two registers

read two registers

writes the data memory

computes and use the PC by adding the sign extended immediate by $4$ to the PC$+4$

reads the data memory

writes to one register

adds a register to the sign extended immediate

reads only one register

subtract two registers

Fetchs the instruction

clears the PC
