Solar power plant meet 60% of energy demand of smart home while rest is from wind power plant in normal operating condition of both power plant. The smart home rated consumption power is 2000 W (Centrifugal pump, static load each 50%). 1. Design your micro grid power generation system which can meet the power consumption requirement of the smart home. Note: Solar array should contain at least two strings depending your two digit of your ID number. Please submit your IDs for getting the number of strings. 2. What are the scenarios if a cell of either of three strings is shaded? How much power loss will be there for that shading effect? How do you minimize that power loss? 3. How do you recover that power loss? Note: you may redesign your wind power plant. 4. Is it possible to feed power to the utility grid? If so, redesign your micro grid to justify your statement.
