The key part of this database is to track each swimmer$$s performance which includes times, places, and points. See the below examples of score sheets, one for each team from a meet that helps you understand the data you need to design into ERD. For each event in which multiple swimmers compete, each swimmer gets a time, a place and points $($e$.$g$.$ first place $=5$ points, second place $=3$ points, etc.$).$ For each meet, individual swimmers points are summed for each team and stored in the database as teamscore. Using the teamsocres, it determines the ranks of all teams participating in the meet.
