In the Week 1 tutorial, you will participate in an online study which will form the
basis of the lab report. The report should include a title page, abstract, introduction,
method, results, discussion, and references section. It is expected that APA
guidelines will be followed in setting out the format of the laboratory report. The
total maximum allowed words is 2000 (i.e., you CANNOT go 10% over and write
2200 words). If you go over the word count, the markers will not read/grade the
extra work. All sections in the lab report except the reference section and title page
are included in your word count (if you wish to use tables and figures, those will
also count in the word count). Further information on writing the lab report will be
given to students during the designated tutorial classes (Week 2, Week 3, Week 4,
Week 8, Week 9 and Week 10).
