The large stream flowing through a highly industrialized in Balok area with the flow rate 19,000 m3 /day. The water has consistent turbid and has hardness in excess of 300 mg/L. The water BOD5 at 20 C and DO are 2.0 mg/L and 10 mg/L, respectively. The water content refractory organics that are known precursors of trichloromethane (chloroform), bromodichloromethane (BDCM), dibromochloromethane (DBCM) and tribromomethane (bromoform). The temperature of the water is 10 C and the coefficient constant is 0.55 per day at 20 C. i) Suggest the water process treatment plant required if that stream will be used as water supply for Balok community. Identify all units including the chemical used.
