The legendary company Irish Transrottation lac" decided on the projects to choose to meet its business needs. In the Transrottation industry productivity improvements are crucial to improve profitability. The company decided to pursue the project "Just in time training". Managers had identified that the company was spending above industry average on training employees in Sales, Driving, Route planning Purchasing and IT, yet productivity was not improving. Transfer of knowledge for older employees needed to be done also. Currently training was Instructor led during work hours and topics hadn't changed for yearsu Competitors had introduced "Just in Time training" to provide correct training when needed eg training over Internet, accessible anytime and anywhere. Employees could also ask questions of Instructors/Experts related to their jobs at anytime. There is also the ability to share and document knowledge over the Internet. Management believed training costs and productivity could both be improved by implementing a project to provide "Just in Time" training on key topics.
