The linkage between HRM and the strategic management process is critical to the success of any organization. The influences of competitive intensity, industry attractiveness, talent and strategic planning are factors that must be considered.

For your initial discussion, select an organization of your choice and assess how the strategic management process was implemented using the three $(3)$ questions found in Figure $2\mathrm{.}3$ Strategy$-$Decisions about Competition.

In your response to at least two of your peers, provide your perspectives on their posts using course terminology and content from this unit and$/$or outside sources.
