The lm Amandla was a powerful depiction of the South African struggle of apartheid. Taking many different angles, from both the oppressed that fought, and the oppressors, outsiders were able to empathize and feel the powerful emotions that were put into this bloody war. Through music and different forms of protest and resistance, the struggle with apartheid seems ever so prevalent in today's society and gives us hope that one day, each and every country will conclude its battle, and we will all be at peace. The world collectively has been at peace for only 8% of the total time it has been in existence and has had records, within the times of distress the issue has always boiled down to an oppression of a group of people.
