The main challenge Elevate is facing how to expand and in which way. I shall start from my observations. Elevate provides after-school programming to low-income high school students to prepare them better to apply to and attend college. The primary services include class tutoring and selection, SAT and ACT preparation, college and financial aid counseling, post-enrollment peer monitoring, and Other Services related to mental and health issues when The program was initially offered only to residents of the north side of the Chicago neighborhood of Rogers Park. This program has expanded to help any new high school student within about five miles of Rogers Park. But the organization had to turn away 50 student applicants because of constraints in funding, human capital, and space. The students are from very low to moderate-income families; many are first-generation Americans, and some are undocumented in the US. Elevate annual budget is 9 million US dollars, and it does not earn any income from the program. But the program has diversified raised revenue stream from grants from foundations, individual contributions, Government contracts, and some donations from other sources. Elevate is succeeding in providing help to students, and the demand for admission has been proliferating. Elevate has had to turn away 50 applicants due to resource constraints. Elevate's strategy to mitigate this challenge and cater to the increasing demand is expansion. The organization has some alternatives to expand its operation to mitigate the demands. Expand its operation in a new geographical area. Deepen its services to its existing students by coaching them during the day in their schools. Expand to support audiences of different ages, such as middle or elementary school students or their parents. Move outside its traditional purview of academic counseling to address the needs of area residents and for workforce training, health counseling, and legal support. Merge with or acquire another non-profit organization with a complementary mission. Each alternative requires funds; which alternative organization should be for the short term and which alternative should adopt in the long term, and how and why. If the organization has turned down any alternative, why should it be turned down? Give your recomendations
