The Maryland General Assembly enacted a law that bans the use of$$animals in advertising any alcohol within the state. The legislators decided that since children love animals, no animals shall be used in any form$$of alcohol advertising, including on product labels, magazine ads, television and$$internet ads, mailers, and billboards.$$

Super Cute Beer launches a new ad campaign, featuring a talking Polar Bear. The ad appears on a billboard on the side of Route $50$ in Easton, and on its$$beer carton, cans, and bottle labels. The State of Maryland has fined$$Super Cute Beer$$$$500$ each time it broke the law by portraying an animal in its advertising.$$Super$$Cute Beer$$filed a lawsuit against the State of Maryland claiming the law$$is unconstitutional.
