The National Quality Standards (NQS) for education and care services (early childhood services or outside school hours care) include a series of standards that reflect the inclusion and recognition of each child as unique. These are excellent standards to follow for children of all ages and can be useful in a classroom context. 

Access the National Quality Standards and list at least five (5) relevant Standards and/or Elements of the National Quality Standards that help inform educational programming and practice and relationships with children when encouraging understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people's cultures?
