Based on the local government's plan, the integrated terminal's main building occupies two hectares land area and the rest of the site will serve as buffer area or spot for future developments. The integrated terminal has adopt a "green" concept in terms of architecture and facilities, specically the use of natural ventilation, natural lighting {skylight} and energyefcient lightemitting diode or LED lights. The facility also provide adequate green open spaces and the design would ensure the preservation and integration of the land's existing natural water bodies and features. Based from the Memorandum of Agreement {MOA} with Land Bank of the Philippines, the integrated public terminal costs P150 million finance via a 10 year bank loan. A passenger bus coming from IGen. Santos city has three entry points to the terminal. The rst is via barrio road which a 6 km stretch from the NIA Koronadal ofce, the second is a 2 km distance through crossing Diaz, a street adjacent to Gaisano Grand Mall and perpendicular to General Santos drive and the third, which is probably the longest route to the terminal, is through Arellano Avenue, a congested street, which has a distance of approximately 15 km. All access paths to the terminal have two lanes only. Meanwhile, a bus leaving for upper valley {going to Surallah, Banga, Sto. Nino etc.) may pass through the Sta. Cruz exit, a two lane 15km stretch diversion road to BangaKoronadal highway. Alternatively, a passenger vehicle may also pass through Arellano Avenue, a four lane route, which is approximately 2 km to the national highway from the terminal. There are currently 8,000 public tricycles and it's expected that many of them will make the Sec. Sec.
