The new Stanley cups have been all over social media and became very popular in the recent months. With increased popularity comes increase scrutiny on their product. Lead is still very much all around us and used in products still to this day. Lead can affect your entire body if exposed, but it depends on how you are exposed, and the smallest amount could cause harm. Even with the Stanely cups having lead in them they are still not telling anyone to get rid of them or pulling them from the shelves. Simply recommending if they have any issues at all with the cups to contact Stanley and they will replace the cup under warranty. Pediatricians on the other hand still do not recommend these types of cups for children use as they like to hit them, rub them, and if a parent does not know the cup is damaged, they could very well encounter the lead.
