The patient has 2 units of PRBCs on hold in the blood bank. The morning assessment shows a T 99 oral, HR 110 bpm, RR 22/min, BP of 100/50, UOP 30 mL/h, a H&H of 7:8/30, and a potassium level of 3.1 mEq/dL The patient reports feeling dizzy when sitting on the side of the bed.
