The objective of this lab activity is to introduce students to the Simulink's Simscape toolbox. Sim- scape is a Physical Modeling toolbox within Simulink. While taking advantage of visual interface of Simulink, it enables us to model systems by their physical properties and relations as opposed to their governing differential equations or transfer functions. After completing this lab activity, the students should be able to model any linear time-invariant mechanical system and obtain its response in Simulink or MATLAB
