The person I chose for this discussion post is Malala Yousafzai. She's a Pakistani woman who fights for women's rights to an education among other things. I chose her because she's been an inspiration and motivator to women and girls all over the world, even going so far as to win a Nobel Peace Prize. I'll use her acceptance speech of the prizeLinks to an external site. as my example of a time when she served as a motivator for others. The amount of support Malala received throughout her journey is astonishing. The amount of effort she puts into her life's work is very admirable and has motivated many others to take on the same fight she does. Malala also regularly gives speeches to groups of students and attends political events to challenge those in power for a more equal future.

What makes Malala a motivator to me is her dedication and diligence to her work. Never giving up, she continues to push for change and works with others to achieve it. She's also a personal motivator to me. I was barely a teen when she became the youngest person ever to win a Nobel Peace Prize. During school my teacher discussed Malala's life and goals and then a few days later printed out the speech to give to everyone. I became incredibly motivated to continue pursuing a higher level of education and to domy best during school because of her efforts. Malala truly holds a part of what motivates me to keep working hard.
