You gave me this diagram and my lecturer says i need to re do it, so please re do the digram for me in correct way and ensure that the design solution diagram includes increased availability and durability of data methods that lower recovery time and increase security. Below is the scenario.
The goal of this project is to use the theories acquired throughout the module and apply those concepts
to Bensa IT Projects cloud architecture.
The diagram above illustrates the infrastructure of the current BensaITP on-premises data centre.
Users connect to the BensaITP application using their user credentials. Active Directory authenticates
Bensa IT Projects staff, who needs to access the system. Since the business has grown, BensaITP
has decided to migrate some or all of its data centre components to the AWS cloud.
As a trainee cloud architect, the manager of BensaITP contacted you to move their data centre to
AWS Cloud and report back to him within a week. In summary, the manager expects you to do
the following:
Produce a design solution diagram that illustrates BensaITPs AWS cloud architecture.
Ensure that the design solution diagram includes increased availability and durability of data
methods that lower recovery time and increase security.
Write a short explanation of your design solution diagram. One page is enough for this
scenario.
Project Design Solution Considerations
Your design solution must take into account some, if not all, of the elements of the following four
pillars of the Well-Architected Framework:
Security Increase the security of data by controlling network traffic at all layers as per
BensaITPs current on-premises infrastructure.
Reliability Create network layers and decouple the compute layer from the database layer.
Performance Efficiency and Operational Excellence Ensure that you implement load
balancing and automatic scaling.
Cost Optimisation Remember to scale services effectively using cost-effective services.
This refers to the use of managed services.
Hints for the Project
Use a minimum of two Availability Zones in your VPC to achieve high availability.
Define necessary subnets in your Availability Zones for secure, high-availability systems.
Ensure that you deploy all your server instances in a protected fashion, provided that they can
access the Internet (to install patches, for example).
Use the default size for each subnet, e.g. VPC (10.0.0.0/16) and subnets (10.0.1.0/24).
You must think of Three Tier cloud architecture. Remember that there is more than one solution
for cloud architecture.
For the security group, specify the port number(s) for the inbound and outbound traffic for each
layer on your architecture diagram.
