The problem:

A parent of one of your friends has a four (4) years old laptop computer. As you are a knowledgeable Information Technology student the parent asked you to help them to make their laptop run faster and allow them store their picture and files.

Specification of the laptop as follows;

Intel Core i5 CPU, running at 2.50 GHz with 2 Cores and 4 logical processor.

4 GB of RAM

500 GB regular hard drive

Operating System Windows 10 Pro.

After four years of use now it takes five minutes to boot up.

Cannot save big files anymore.

When browsing the Internet, they must have 100 tabs open in the internet browser and this is slowing down the computer even more.

1: As a future computer tech, you need to summarize and write down the problem they are having. Clearly, write down your assumptions.?

2: Clearly, write down if it is hardware related issues, or software related issues, or a combination of both.?

3: Logically write down the steps you will take to resolve the problems one by one.?
