The purpose of this assignment is to apply your understanding of a communication theory to a real-life topic of your choice, to provide you with an opportunity to conduct research with academic sources beyond the textbook, and to improve your critical thinking and analytical writing skills. Requirements The assignment requires you (1) to choose one communication theory from our class, (2) to conduct an academic search and an in-depth analysis of at least 10 academic articles using the theory, and (3) to discuss how ideas and findings from the 10 articles can assist our understanding of the topic individually and together. The assignment should have at least 8 p ages following the A PA style, and should include in-text citations and a re ference page (no need of a separate title page or an abstract section, the page requirement is for the main body of the essay only).
