STEP 2. Compose a two-paragraph reply that addresses the following prompts:

• First paragraph prompt: To what extent were he/she surprised or not surprised by the standing ovation? Explain. Explain how conformity was illustrated in this video and what led the audience to go along with standing up at the end. Be sure to include support from the textbook and video to support he/her statements.
• Second paragraph prompt: Describe an example or two that illustrate normative social influence and/or informational social influence. In he/her example(s), be sure to include discussion of normative or informational influence and why the example(s) support the type of social influence. Describe factors that can influence conformity and how it affects the outcome of situations.
