The purpose of this discussion is to think about some of the different hypothesis tests we have learned about in this module (in Chapters 10-11), specifically, Hypothesis tests for the population proportion, a population mean, two proportions from independent samples, two means from dependent samples, and two means from independent samples. You will need to post before you will be able to see your peers' posts.

Outcomes

Determine the appropriate hypothesis test to perform and distinguish between independent and dependent sampling.

Make a chart that you can use to help you decide which hypothesis test you need to use population proportion. Explain your chart so that someone new to statistics could use it to select the appropriate hypothesis test.
