The purpose of this document is to briefly describe the Leadership Philosophy Paper that is due week two of the term. Instructions Using the readings in Unit 1, class discussions, and your own experience, define and describe your definition of leadership and your personal leadership philosophy. This will be accomplished in a 1-2 page single-spaced memo (max. 12 pt font with 1" margins), describing what effective leadership means to you along with your views of yourself or others in a leadership role. Your Myers-Briggs results and X-Y theory "type" must be incorporated into this philosophy paper along with how they may influence your actions in a leadership role. Also include your responses to the following questions: . What skills and characteristics do you think are important or necessary in a leadership role? What skills and/or characteristics related to effective leadership do you feel you will need to develop and why? How will you develop these skills and/or characteristics? Be sure to answer and support your responses to all of the above questions
