The purpose of this proposal is to help your group produce a plan for your social analysis group project. This involves choosing your topic, doing some preliminary research and thinking about why it's important. Completing this proposal with your group will help you narrow the focus of your topic, organize the project and allocate the work to group members. It is also an opportunity for your professor to give you feedback on your plan.

Instructions:

You are required to identify a social problem that your group will research, outline how you will apply the Triangle Model to analyze it, and provide a preliminary sample and description of sources on your topic. You need to demonstrate why your chosen topic is a social problem, and why that problem is a social justice issue.

Rationale: 1 Paragraph

• Identify the social problem that your group has chosen as your research topic
• Explain why this a social problem and not an individual problem
• Explain why this topic is a social justice issue

Outline: 2-3 Paragraphs

• Outline how your group will use the Triangle Model to analyze your topic

Annotated Bibliography: one source per group member

• Provide one source per group member, in APA citation format, with a one-paragraph description of the source
• Your descriptions should summarize the content of the source, why you chose it, and any biases or limitations you can detect
• One of the sources must be your case study with a description
