The purpose of this study is to determine if a treatment from a teaching intervention improves reading achievement as measured by the Wide Range Achievement Test- Reading Scale (WRAT-R) when compared to a control treatment condition after controlling for IQ as an extraneous variable. There are 18 fifth grade students who are participating in this study. When an alpha is needed, please use an = .05.
