The question I am working on is: If an ISP offers a/17 address block for N dollars per month and a/16 address block for 1.5N dollars per month, which has the cheapest cost per computer? I can see that the equation is 1.5N/(216-2) and N/215-2. I am not understanding how 1.5N/(216-2) is less than N/215-2 when it appears to be more.
