Architectures for Cloud Computing 5. Parallel Processing: Multistage Interconnection Networks You will work in groups of 2 students; individual submissions are also acceptable. The outcome of your work will be a technical report, which is expected to summarize the knowledge you have acquired in studying the topic chosen, in a way that would be useful for people wanting to know some essential facts about the scientific area discussed. The length of the report should be around (but not less than) 5-6 pages, typeset in Times New Roman, 12 pt. font with single spacing. The structure of your report should include: Title of the report, followed by the names of authors Abstract (a short summary of 10-15 lines) Introduction (approx.. one page, introducing the reader to the topic, ending with one paragraph describing the structure of the report, i.e. the following sections) Methodology (approx.. 2/3 of a page, describing the work done, the sources used, the way (web search, library search, etc) the sources were found and the distribution of work (who did what, which section was written by whom). Technical Sections Conclusions (at most half a page, with conclusions and comments) References (at least 6 expected, IEEE or APA style) Your work will be graded with 100 points overall according to the scheme below. Clear and precise organization of Content (20 points) Technical Quality of the Report (40 points) The report should be readable, technically correct and useful to a person who needs to understand the basics of the topic discussed. It should serve as a good introductory text Good command of English (20 points) Clear methodology and organization of groupwork (20 points) Plagiarism will not be appreciated and will give you 'zero' reward.
