The distance (f) of the tensile anchor rod to the plate edge shall be taken as 40mm. Calculations will be made by taking the number of anchors n = 4. For the sliding wedge design, HE220A will be chosen as the wedge profile (h = 210mm, b = 220mm, l = 200mm) YDKT method will be preferred as the design method. Where needed, the AISC-Design of Column Base Plates specification will be used.
