The right candidate for the job is very important. There are situations where the person may have the right skills, the right education, or the right experience, but they still may not be right for the job. It is more important to find the right fit. You cannot change someone to make them fit into the culture (Cockerell, 2008). Skills can be taught over time to the right person. Hiring someone that fits in with the other team members makes for a better work environment. It will be more team-oriented, and the staff will have more respect for each other. You cannot teach attitude and work ethic in my opinion
