The self-analysis section was missing the required information from the syllabus related to “your view of counseling” and “why people enter counseling”. You partially addressed the “how people change” part (mainly focused on cognitive therapy) and described the appeal of the theory you selected to you. The presenting problem section had some good information, but like the self-analysis and final section was too short in length. The last section was far too short in length and contained very little actual information and detail on specific information and ways in which CBT could be directly applied to the treatment of PTSD. Length 12.5 Paper was about 4.5 pages in length (rather than the total 6 pages minimum required); also each section was to be 1.5 pages minimum in length (the only section that met or exceeded this was section 1, with section 4 being the shortest at less than ½ page in length) References 10 All of your references were from websites/web-only sources, which were not allowed for this paper (see syllabus instructions regarding the use of peer-reviewed journal articles, books, etc.); there were also several formatting issues noted on the references page Format 15 There were a few formatting and grammar issues noted on the paper. Additionally, there was too much quoting in the first and third sections in particular (the majority of the paper in those sections should be paraphrased into own words, while still citing the sources the information came from). As noted on the paper, you essentially used a repeated format throughout the first and third sections of the paper in which you provided a lengthy quote and then typically explained the quote more in your words, often essentially restating the information in the quote. Rather than the repeated quotes and the attempted restatement, the idea in this type of paper (and in this paper, these 2 sections in particular) would be to use the information from the source(s) to write the paragraph, mostly using your own words (paraphrasing). You still provide the citation for the information because that is required, but are not using so many direct quotes
