The prime goal of leadership development is to build effective leaders to implement strategic proposals that lead to the organizations success. The values and standards of the organization are created by its leadership, they set the tone for the organization which means employees may emulate their leaders. There are several approaches to leadership development that are used interchangeably, which consist of interpersonal interaction, education and training, and job performance. Interpersonal interaction deals with mentoring someone who may take the position for a smoother transition. Education and training may consist of hands-on training within or leadership classes outside of the organization. The job performance approach deals with team interaction of diverse experiences, skills, and knowledge. These approaches will help develop skills to become effective leaders. Effective leaders create impressive teams by motivating their employees and bringing together a diversity of skill sets. A smooth transition into a leadership role is the objective for the affected department and the organization which is aspiring for an optimal outcome
