The story of Mrs N S-Man is a television character who is extremely popular among young children. Mrs N, who owns a toy shop, ordered 50 S-Man outfits from F Clothing at R150 per suit. The parties agreed that the suits would be delivered on 15 November 2020. Mrs N planned to sell the suits at R170 each. At least 100 customers expressed interest in buying suits for their children for New Years Day parties, but Mrs N could not supply the suits to her customers by the agreed date as the suits were only delivered to her on 15 January 2021. F Clothing took on more orders than they could cope with, hence the late delivery. By January 2021, when F Clothing should have delivered the suits to Mrs N, DStv had replaced the S-Man television programme with another programme, and the market for S-Man suits diminished considerably. Most of Mrs Ns customers withdrew their orders for the S-Man suits
