The straight-line depreciation of building is calculated by dividing cost of building into no of years. As per IRS a residental building useful life is 27.5 years. Depreciation = cost of building/27.5 = $83,000/27.5 = $3,018.18 the answer is still wrong I would like my money back no clear answer
